What is sparkling wine?

What is the difference between sparkling white wine and rosé?

The categories to qualify a vintage are: Regular, good, very good and excellent. It is normal to mix the must of the optimal years with that of the less good years to offer a product of standard quality. So you don’t have to worry about the year of harvest unless you want to buy a Réserve or a Gran Réserve, which uses grapes from the best years.

White wine or rosé

The color is also an emerging criterion when choosing a sparkling wine. The vast majority of white grape varieties have given way to another market niche of rosé champagnes and rosé cavas. The latter have increased their sales by more than 2% in recent years, although a large part of the sales are destined for export.

Sparkling rosés add a pop of color and enhance the festive connotations of any cava or champagne. In addition, the color does not affect the quality of a sparkling wine.
